This book deals totally with an assembly language program that can be used to edit and assemble assembly language programs. Since the editor and assembler are co-resident, it is very easy to go between one and the other to edit programs, assemble them, and go back to the editor to correct any errors that were detected during the assembly process. It is not the intention of this book to explain how the editor and assembler work. Rather, the book provides detailed explanations so that you can effectively use the program to prepare assembly language programs. For those readers interested in using the editor/assembler on their 8080-based microcomputer, a complete assembled listing of the program is provided.
